Kate Gosselin is a mother of eight kids, she is an author, a registered nurse, and a television personality. Kate is known for the reality show Jon and Kate Plus 8. Before Jon and Kate Plus 8, she appeared in the NBC reality show, Home Delivery, where the Gosselin home was remodeled to accommodate their growing family.
The Gosselins’ desire to start family began with infertility. Kate was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome, and she turned to fertility treatments and underwent artificial insemination. On October 8, 2000, Kate gave birth to twins. In October 2003, Kate became pregnant again, and 5 weeks later the doctor informed them they were expecting sextuplets. The sextuplets were born on May 10, 2004.
However, in April 2009, allegations surfaced that Kate’s husband, Jon, has been unfaithful, when it was reported that he was seen out partying with various women. There are rumors that the pair will divorce, and the issue was addressed in the May 2009 fifth season premiere of Jon and Kate Plus 8, but they never stated whether or not they would in fact be getting divorced.
