At only 23 years of age, Abigail Clancy has already carved out a hugely successful career in both modeling and television. 2009 promises to be an even bigger year still for the Liverpudlian beauty, after last years success with her first ever presenting role on ITV2’s The Fashion Project and a modeling contract as the face and body of Matalan which is set to continue this year.
Abbey first burst into the public conscience in 2004, when she became the runner up in Livings hit series Britain’s Next Top Model, where she was runner up in the series. Following on the from this success, Living signed Abbey up for her own series, namely Abbey & Janice: Beauty & The Best in 2007, opposite supermodel Janice Dickinson.
Following on from this series, autumn 2007 saw Abbey enrol in ITV1's primetime reality series, Hell's Kitchen. With Marco Pierre White teaching the contestants the art of cordon bleu cooking, Abbey proved a huge hit in the series, winning over both viewers and the UK media alike.
As well as her TV work, Abbey has continues to model, appearing in magazines from Grazia and InStyle to GQ and FHM and her 2008 calender was one of the fastest selling of the year.
Mr. Bean injured in car crash

British comedy actor Mr. Bean, suffered a minor injury after the supercar he was driving crashed and caught fire, emergency services said Friday.
Car enthusiast Atkinson needed hospital treatment Thursday after the McLaren F1 car he was driving spun off the road near the village of Haddon, eastern England, before crashing into a tree and a lamppost.
The 56-year-old walked away from the accident before firefighters arrived and put out the blaze.
"We were called to the scene of a single vehicle collision on the A605 near Haddon at about 7.30 pm (1830 GMT) yesterday," a local police spokesman said.
"The driver of the vehicle, a man, was taken to Peterborough City Hospital."
A police source confirmed the man involved was Atkinson.
An ambulance spokesman said the casualty had suffered "a minor shoulder injury."
Tearful Angelina gets Sarajevo film festival award

Angelina Jolie was close to tears as she received a special award during an unannounced visit to Sarajevo's film festival with partner Brad Pitt.
"I will start crying if you don't stop," Angelina Jolie told the audience who gave her a standing ovation at the city's National Theater.
Angelina chose Bosnia's 1992-95 war as the setting for her first movie as a director. "In the Land of Blood and Honey" is due to be released in December.
She has also visited Bosnia as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nation's refugee agency UNHCR and funded the construction of several houses for returnees in eastern Bosnia.
Festival director Mirsad Purivatra presented Jolie with a heart-shaped award when she appeared at the closing ceremony.
